Patients with two successful diagnostic Medial Branch Block (MBB) injections are eligible for Radiofrequency Neuroablation. Using a radiofrequency current to heat the injection needle tip, Radiofrequency Neuroablation essentially melts the tiny pain nerve so that it can no longer convey pain signals to your brain. Nerves no longer transmit pain after a Neuroablation procedure.
